Born in Krakow on 10 January 1970.
Active in the fields of painting, drawing, photography, and spatial objects. With Jakub Najbart in 2011 established and is a board member of Transporter Kultury Foundation – www.transporterkultury.pl
Since 1996 he has been working at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts, currently (since 2013) as a professor at the Painting Faculty. In addition, he holds classes in portrait photography at the Krakow School of Creative Photography. He lives in Krakow.
1992-97 – studies at the Painting Faculty of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts, diploma cum laude in the studio of prof. Zbigniew Grzybowski
1993 – artistic trip by land to Siberia (Lake Baikal)
1995-96 – scholarship and studies at the Akademie der Bildenden Kunste in Nuremberg in the studio of painting, graphic design and object under the supervision of prof. Rolf Günter Dienst
1996 – art trip to Egypt (by land – via Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Sinai Peninsula)
1996-2001 – assistant professor at the Painting Faculty, in the painting studio of prof. Sławomir Karpowicz
2001-2010 – assistant professor (since 2006 associate professor) in the painting studio of prof. Adam Wsiołkowski
2005 – earned a Ph.D. in Painting at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts
2012 – received a post-doc degree in the Visual Arts at the Painting Faculty of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts
2012-16 – Dean of the Painting Faculty
since 2010 – head of the 5th Drawing Studio at the Painting Faculty of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts
2017 – printed publication, 128 pages, bilingual (Polish – English), summarizing up almost 20 years of creative work, ISBN 978-83-65570-73-4
He has held 22 solo exhibitions and has taken part in over 200 collective shows in Poland and abroad.
